Doris A. Adegbemile is a governance-focused professional with extensive experience in administration, human resource management, and compliance within public sector and service-oriented institutions. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and brings over six years of experience supporting senior leadership, institutional operations, and policy implementation. In addition to her public sector roles, Doris has worked in the insurance sector, where she developed practical insight into risk management, documentation standards, and compliance processes. Her expertise includes organisational governance support, safeguarding and welfare oversight, records and information management, risk awareness, and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards. Doris has completed formal training in Safeguarding Adults, the Mental Capacity Act, health and safety, and professional communication, equipping her to contribute effectively to responsible oversight and informed decision-making. As a Board Member of Heka’s Hope Haven Initiative, Doris supports strategic direction, promotes accountability and good governance, and helps ensure that the organisation’s services remain safe, compliant, and firmly centred on the dignity and wellbeing of those it exists to serve.
